I submitted a trade request and Orderful informs me it has default requirements for my partners. What does that mean for me?

After submitting the trade request, you can click on Confirm Requirements, and Orderful displays EDI requirements already digitized by our Network Team.

Defaults could exist for any combination of the following sections and can be re-used by you without gathering the requirements from your partner.

  • Data format and version: You don’t have to get EDI requirements (ISA IDs, EDI format and version, acknowledgment settings, …
  • Transaction Guidelines: If all transaction types listed match what you want to trade, that means you don’t have to upload guidelines to Orderful.
  • Communication Channels: You don’t have to provide Orderful with your partner's connection details, as Orderful will reuse an existing connection.
