My partner wants me to use a specific testing tool to complete EDI testing. Do I have to?
Your partner may have built a Vendor portal for testing activities. You’ll be expected to log in and complete testing using your partner’s portal.
Your partner may have partnered with an EDI provider to perform testing activities on their behalf. You’ll be expected to log in to their EDI provider platform and complete testing using your portal.
Example of EDI providers used by retailers: SPS, Rithum, OpenText, iTrade, ...
Testing Fees
Your partner's EDI provider may require you to pay testing fees and they may give you a limited amount of time to test. These testing fees are typically one-time charges and are not covered under Orderful's pricing.
If this is the case, consider asking your retailer to "wave" the fees for you as an exception and get them to notify their chosen EDI provider of the waved fees. The fees waving is not guaranteed and depends on your retailer's policies but we have seen some successful results for some of our customers.
